Dotun Gade is a serial volunteer, with experience in four West African countries. He holds masters in Humanitarian and refugee studies from the University of Ibadan. As a trained humanitarian, he has a passion for the underprivileged and vulnerable population.
Dotun had a first-hand experience of health and wellbeing hazards, posed by lack of access to safe, clean water and adequate sanitation, during his National Youth Service. He has also seen the challenges faced by rural population by the scarcity of safe clean water and adequate sanitation.
The aforementioned WASH challenges, coupled with well-documented clean water and sanitation challenges faced by people in conflict-ravaged areas, moved Dotun to donate his time and skills, to improving WASH conditions and helping to save lives in Nigeria.
A polyglot, Dotun speaks Yoruba, English and French.
