Hope Spring is a water charity organization, with its head office in England, United Kingdom. Hope Spring Water provides access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) facilities for developing communities in Africa. We are in the process of establishing a base in Nigeria, to help us carry out our objectives of helping even more people to access safe and clean water in Nigeria. Job Description

Would you like to use your online skills for a good cause and improve the lives of less fortunate people? Then volunteering as Hope Spring water webmaster may just be the way to do that.

Your task is to assist the existing webmaster to manage our growing website. Our website was created using self-hosted WordPress, so you will need some knowledge of WordPress. Graphic design skills is highly needed and desirable for this role.

Your tasks as a volunteer webmaster includes:

  • Adding new contents to our website
  • Finding suitable legal images/pictures for our contents
  • Ensuring links and other things on our websites works as it should
  • Ensure the site is updated
  • Basic SEO tasks including on page optimisation.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of SSCE
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good English language writing and verbal skills
  • Team player and keen attention to details
  • WordPress skills
  • Good graphic manipulation skills
  • Passionate about water, sanitation and hygiene
