Ruth Chiamaka Uwandu

Ruth Uwandu Chiamaka is a graduate of Economics and Statistics from the University of Benin, Edo State. She resides in Lagos State, Nigeria. She has a certificate in Project Management. She is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Economics of Nigeria(ICEN). She has worked as a Volunteer/Project Director in a number of Projects in HopeSprings Water Foundation.

Ruth is passionate about Humanity. Her Love for Humanity spurred her to take active roles in executing some Hope Spring Water Projects like WASH (2017), PAD A GIRL (2019), LAGOS WATER RUN (2019). She believes in availability of clean water and the abolition of Water Poverty, hence, she is a strong proponent of Goal 6 of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Ruth loves participating in Water and Sanitation Hygiene projects, Sensitizing Young and old Minds about the relevance, availability, accessibility of good and clean water and environment and hopes to reach out more to more communities faced with WASH problems.

Ruth also loves writing stories and Poems about Human Inequality, Social Vices, Life Struggles etc. She also loves reading, travelling, Meeting new people and Proffering solutions to basic human problems.
