As the Angwan Maikyau borehole project progressed, the team focused on the final stages of construction to ensure a seamless and user-friendly water collection experience for the community. On March 6th, 2026, the tiling work commenced, transforming the fetching area into a clean and organized space for water collection.
The wall tiles were meticulously fixed, creating a visually appealing and hygienic environment. The floor tiles were then laid, further enhancing the overall aesthetic and functionality of the water fetching area. This attention to detail not only improves the user experience but also contributes to the long-term maintenance and cleanliness of the facility.
After the tiling work was completed, the plumber waited patiently for the concrete work done by the mason to fully dry. This crucial step ensured the structural integrity and stability of the project’s foundation, laying the groundwork for the next phase of the installation.
With the concrete work cured, the plumber proceeded to place the storage tank on the reservoir stand. This tank will serve as the central hub, collecting and storing the water pumped from the borehole. The plumber then expertly connected the pipes from the borehole to the reservoir, creating a seamless flow of water from the source to the storage system.
The final step involved the plumber testing the water flow by pumping the water into the reservoir. This critical step verified the proper functioning of the entire water system, ensuring the community will have access to a reliable and consistent supply of clean water.
The completion of the tiling, tank installation, and pipe connections marks a significant milestone in the Angwan Maikyau borehole project. The community can now look forward to the official commissioning of the water facility, which will bring an end to their long-standing struggle with water scarcity and the associated health and productivity challenges.
The dedication and attention to detail exhibited by the Hope Spring team throughout this project have been truly commendable. Their commitment to providing sustainable and user-friendly water solutions is a testament to their mission of transforming lives and empowering communities.
