My name is Olorunfemi Boluwatife and I’m from Hope Spring Water Charity Foundation. To be honest, I want to say I’m very happy that this is happening today because when I came for a need assessment, that was in January, I noticed that this community has been suffering from water poverty for about 30 years.
They fetch from a pond where they have to come first come first serve and it can’t even serve the community because they have to walk the bush path which is actually very risky for children and women.
Then aside from that again, they also took us to a well which is not well covered and does not have a ring. So, this community has been suffering from water poverty.
When Mr. Jabez Bawa reached out to Hope Spring Water Charity Foundation UK, they came to their aid by bringing them access to safe clean water. I’m really glad to start this project from the beginning to the end and today they are very happy. They are staying a very big thank you to Hope Spring Water Charity Foundation for bringing safe clean water to their community.
